The legs under the MFT are a bad design. The stress in the joints is just too high. Ironically, these braces are more of the same bad design. The plastic part that clicks in the hole is just not up for the stress it gets. It develops play over time. The legs of the MFT are not good, no matter how you turn it. I think removing the legs and putting the table on a sturdy base is the best option when used stationary.
